Accident at Intersection of Holloway Street and Beasley Avenue Results in Injuries

Comments (0)

Multiple people suffered injuries in an accident that occurred near the intersection of Holloway Street and Beasley Avenue in Durham, North Carolina (NC). Reports indicate that the driver of a Ford Ranger pickup truck hit rear-ended another pickup truck causing it to cross the lane and hit a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist suffered the most severe injuries. Stacie Miller, a Durham, NC resident, was on the motorcycle and had to be taken to a hospital with broken arms and legs, according to WRAL.com.

In addition to Mrs. Miller's serious injuries, a passenger in the Ford Ranger also had to be taken to a hospital for injuries.

The exact cause of this wreck remains a mystery. Was the driver of the Ranger distracted? Intoxicated? Was there a mechanical issue? We cannot say at this time. Once the incident report is published, we will have a better idea of what happened. We do know that criminal charges are pending, according to the WRAL article.
