A Davidson County couple were killed, and their grandson was injured, when a tractor trailer crashed into the couple’s car head-on. The wreck occurred just south of Asheboro, North Carolina (NC), in a no-passing zone on NC Highway 49 when the truck forced the victims’ car off the road, according to The Republic.
It is likely police will file charges against the truck driver.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the family. Losing someone close to you is never easy, but the pain is made even worse when the loss is sudden and caused by a reckless driver’s behavior.
