Fatal Virginia Beach High Speed Collision
A tragic accident occurred on North Landing Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia (VA). A vehicle was reportedly traveling westbound and drifted into the eastbound lanes. As a result, the vehicle slammed into two other vehicles. The collision caused serious injuries and loss of life.
Dequita Dowtin, a resident of Chesapeake (named in the Daily Press, 11-09-13), was the victim whose life was taken far too soon. She was transported to the hospital after the wreck, but was unable to survive. She was only 34 years old.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Dowtin family. Losing a loved one is never easy, but the pain is made even worse when your loved one is taken from you in a sudden and unexpected manner. It also has to be infuriating to think about the “what ifs” associated with this terrible accident. For example, what if the at-fault driver had exercised reasonable care and not drited into oncoming traffic? Maybe this tragic wreck could have been avoided.
