Chesapeake, VA Truck-Motor Bike Wrecks Leads to Injuries, Loss of Life | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A tragic accident involving a Ford truck and two motorcycles left two people dead and another seriously injured, according to WAVY.com.

The truck-motor bike accident happened on Mt. Pleasant Road in Chesapeake, Virginia (VA), near Fentress Airfield Road.

Reports indicate the truck was traveling westbound while the motor bike riders were traveling the opposite direction when the truck and one of the motorbike riders sideswiped each other. Both the truck driver and motor bike rider were killed.

The wreck also caused a second motorbike rider to crash. His injuries were so severe that he was airlifted to Norfolk Sentara Hospital.

The exact details of which vehicle initiated the sideswipe have not been released, but what is more important is that two lives have seen lost in a preventable accident.
