Coal Mining Practices Could Be Contaminating Waterways

My fellow lawyer Emily Mapp Brannon wrote about the coal-mining practice of mountain top removal and its debris contaminating waterways in Virginia (VA). Regulations were loosened in December which enabled coal-mining companies to dump debris even closer to streams which heightens the potential for contamination.
