In his latest post to our firm’s Virginia Beach Injuryboard blog, my colleague John C. reports that experts in mild traumatic brain injury and athletic trainers, coaches, teachers and educational administrators have submitted draft guidelines for recognizing and treating concussions to the Virginia (VA) Board of Education. If adopted as expected in January 2011, the guidelines will help protect children and teens from long-term problems related to brain injuries.
