In a new post for our Virginia Beach Injuryboard blog titled “Railroaders Beware: Diesel Exhaust Associated With Heart Attacks and Heart Disease,” my colleague Rick Shapiro highlights the coronary health risks faced by rail employees who every day breath in diesel fumes. Rick stresses that heart health needs to be taken into account when assessing on-the-job illness dangers for railroad conductors, engineers, conductors, trackmen and rail yard workers.
