Drivers Need to Stop Using Cell Phones Behind the Wheel | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

In his latest post to our firm’s Norfolk Injuryboard blog site, Virginia personal injury attorney Rick Shapiro expresses his strong support for the proposal from the National Transportation Safety Board to have states enact bans on the use of all handheld and hands-free cell phones by drivers for talking and texting. Rick admits that such a law would cause him to change his own driving habits, but he recognizes that his safety and the safety or others on the road would be greatly improved by putting down the phone and focusing on the road.
