Drunk Driver Strikes Bicyclist in Hit-and-Run Injury Accident in Zebulon, North Carolina | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

In what appears to be a bicycle accident injury case involving a drunken driver when a vehicle struck a Zebulon, North Carolina man from behind while he was riding his bike. According to police the 52 year old driver struck the bicyclist along West Gannon Avenue within city districts. The driver kept right on going with total disregard to the bicyclist.

The bicycle rider was treated for minor injuries at WakeMed in Raleigh, North Carolina (N.C.). The Spring Hope, North Carolina native that was drunk behind the wheel was later tested to have a blood alcohol content level of 0.22  and open alcohol containers were found in his vehicle.
