Fatal Car Crash as Minivan Collides with Motorcycle in Raleigh | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A person died in Raleigh Tuesday morning after a minivan turned in front of a motorcycle on Mt. Vernon Church Road, near Liberty Woods Way. The fatal wreck occurred around 7:30 a.m., according to troopers. 

Highway Patrol did not mention if the person who died was riding the motorcycle or whether they were in the van. A 12-year-old in the mini-van was taken to a hospital, according to the report. It is still unknown as to the complete extent of the child’s injuries. Authorities have not released any other information at this time.
