Potentially Helpful Info:

When a driver crosses the center line they become a wrong way driver. There are many wrong way driver accidents every year that occur for a variety of reasons. The most common would likely be that of drunk driving. In North Carolina (NC) last month a drunk driver flew through an intersection making a left turn and entered the highway in the wrong lane and collided with another vehicle head-on. The vehicle he collided with was occupied by a father and his two children.  All were seriously injured and taken to the hospital and one of the children died from her injuries.
