A tractor trailer driver died in a fiery crash off of I-85 in Franklin County, Georgia yesterday. The crash happened at mile marker 172, and closed the interstate for two hours. The truck had two trailers and crashed at approximately 6 am.
According to the local fire department chief, the tractor trailer slammed into several trees and caught fire. One of the trees fell onto the interstate.
At this time, the cause of the crash is unclear.
