Herndon Hit and Run Accident Results in Loss of Life

Comments (0)

What Happened:

A woman was hit and killed in an accident that occurred on the 600 block of Center Street in Herndon, Virginia (VA). A short distance from where the woman was found, a black Toyota Camry was located that reportedly hit several other vehicles parked along the street, according to the Herndon Patch. It turns out the owner of the black Toyota Camry was the husband of the hit and run victim. Police still haven’t been able to track down the husband.

The Virginia Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:

There are a myriad of unanswered questions related to this tragic hit and run accident. Unfortunately, this is quite common for these types of accidents. There’s usually a victim, or family members of a victim, who have to pick up the pieces of their lives after a preventable incident.

This is why it’s important to consult with an attorney after a hit and run wreck. An attorney can help with sorting through the paperwork and taking the necessary steps to pursue restitution through the underinsured/uninsured motorist coverage of your insurance policy.
