Hit and Run Accident in Pittsylvania County Leads to Loss of Life | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

What Happened:

Thomas Bradner was walking home on Route 41 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia (VA) when he was hit by a car and lost his life. Mr. Bradner’s body was found  along a stretch of the road. Unfortunately, the at-fault driver failed to stop and check on Mr. Bradner. Instead, they fled the scene.

Mr. Bradner’s girlfriend spoke to a Virginia newspaper about this terrible accident and the dismay at the actions of the at-fault driver. “I wish you would have at least had the decency to stop, maybe he could have been saved,” she said, according to wset.com.

Virginia police report that little is known about what caused this hit and run accident since there are no witnesses and no one has come forward.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Mr. Bradner’s friends and family. Losing someone you love is never easy, but the pain is made even worse when the loss is sudden and unexpected.
