Hit and Run accident injures bicyclist on Shore Drive

Many accident victims are left without assistance from the reckless driver who caused the accident, like a recent hit and run accident that occurred on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach (VA) involving a 33-year-old bike rider, and Navy Lt. Monika Glandorff. The woman was said to be hit by a 3-series BMW, between the years 98- 2000, according to The Virginian Pilot.

 Many people suffer serious injuries or even death, from hit and run accidents. Monika Glandorff survived the Virginia Beach car-bike accident but had two fractured vertebrae and a broken leg. There have been other hit and run accidents on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach this year. Jim Dunham, 55 was a victim of a hit and run accident which led to him suffering serious injuries.          
Safety is a big issue today on the roads; many hit and run accidents can take a toll on the victim and their families.
