Virginia Beach Hit-and-Run Victim's Family Speaks

An innocent man was killed in a hit and run accident involving a suspect who fled from police in Virginia Beach, VA. The at-fault driver was allegedly involved in a robbery, and police were trying to pull him over. Rather than stopping, the suspect tried to escape apprehension, according to the Daily Press.

The victim’s family has now spoken out about the tragedy and expressed sadness about the disregard the at-fault driver had for the victim’s life.

Even though nothing will bring the victim back, the at-fault driver was captured the next day and charged with felony counts of eluding and hit-and-run, along with homicide.
