A man from Chesapeake, Virginia (VA) man has been indicted on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident that left a pedestrian from Portsmouth dead.
The 34-year-old was.also indicted on a charge of reckless driving, the Virginian-Pilot reported.
The charges follow the death of Nathaniel Bethea, 54, in Portsmouth, Virginia (VA) in January. Bethea died after he was hit while walking in Victory Blvd., police reported after the accident.
A witness was able to describe the vehicle and give police license tag information, according to court filings. Read more here.
