Man Hit, Injured by Car on MacCorkle Avenue | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A wheelchair-bound man was hit by a car while he was traveling in the eastbound lanes of MacCorkle Avenue in his wheelchair. The victim was heading west in the bicycle lane of the road in St. Albans. The driver who hit the wheelchair-bound man was turning onto MacCorkle from DeCharms Street. The victim had to be taken to a local hospital for medical attention, according to WSAZ3.
