Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Wreck in High Point | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A man driving a vintage car collided with another vehicle, a van, in High Point, North Carolina (NC). The car, a 1969 Opel GT, was traveling on Johnson Street when he was hit by a 2005 Honda van at the intersection of Johnson Street and Highway 311.
The driver of the Opel GT was trying to make a left turn on Highway 311 when the crash occurred. My Fox 8 reports that the Opel driver’s injuries were so severe that he lost his life.
This accident illustrates that even just making a turn can have tragic consequences. Though, police are still investigating the cause of this wreck. It’s possible that the van driver was distracted and didn’t react in a reasonable amount of time before colliding with the Opel GT.
If it turns out the driver of the van was negligent, the victim’s family should consider contacting a wrongful death lawyer in North Carolina (NC) to explore their legal options.
