Though no citations were issued at the scene, the bus sustained major damage and one of the students requested medical attention. Drivers at fault for rear-end accidents frequently ignore the basics of safely sharing the road with school buses. Some drivers aren’t even aware of laws about stopping for a school bus that has its flashing lights activated and stop sign raised. Thankfully, this bus wasn’t stopping to let students off, or the injuries may have been more serious.
