McLean,VA Car-Truck Crash Produces Serious Injuries

Three people suffered injuries when a car got trapped under a tractor trailer truck in McLean, Virginian (VA). The accident occurred at the south end of the American Legion Bridge that carries the Capital Beltway over the Potomac River between Maryland (MD) and Virginia, according to McLeanPatch.com.

Reports indicate at least one person suffered life-threatening injuries and two others also suffered serious injuries. 

The exact details of the car-truck wreck remain unknown. Was the driver of the car distracted? Did the tractor-trailer stop suddenly without warning? Was there some type of mechanical issue? We will have to wait and see what the accident report reveals.
