The Virginia Injury Lawyer’s Perspective: The exact cause of the wreck remains unknown, but we do know that the car hit the motorcycle, which indicates that the driver of the car may have been negligent in operating the vehicle. The accident report will tell us more. It is unclear if the driver of the car was distracted, under the influence of alcohol, or if there were any other factors that may have caused the crash. For now, we can say that the motorcyclist may have grounds file a personal injury claim against the driver, depending on the outcome.
