Our thoughts go out to the family of the motorcyclist at this most difficult time. As a Norfolk injury attorney, I'm all too familiar with the intersection where this wreck occurred. There is a raised median with large shrubs that makes it difficult to see oncoming traffic. If you routinely drive in this area, make sure to slow down and be prepared for oncoming traffic you may not be able to see right away. Motorcycles are small and often hard to see even in the best of conditions. All too often, drivers of cars, trucks and SUVs hit motorcyclists without seeing them at all.
