What Happened: One driver was killed, and the at-fault driver injured, after the latter crossed the dividing line of Route 109, according to hpe.com. The at-fault driver was travelling in the southbound lane, crossed over onto the northbound side of the highway, and subsequently struck a car, killing the driver of that car. A third vehicle then proceeded to slam into the at-fault driver’s car. The at-fault driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition; the driver of the third vehicle was charged with DWI (driving while impaired).
