NC Pickup Truck Crash Kills Moped Driver | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A man in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) is facing criminal charges after hitting a moped driver with his pickup truck, causing the victim’s death.

The driver of a the pickup is from Nashville, NC, and was driving on Capital Boulevard near the Triangle Town Center Hall on Monday, April 25, 2011. He hit the moped driver at approximately 2:15 pm. An arrest warrant was filed Friday at the Wake County Magistrate’s Office, and the pickup truck driver faces one count of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
