Norfolk Personal Injury Lawyer Info: Virginia Beach Hit-and-Run Victims Shaken Up

A group of friends were hanging out on Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach, VA, when an angry driver ran over the woman and the two men she was with. The woman was thrown over top of the car and had to spend three days in the hospital. One of the men, who was sent to the hospital for four days, is in the Navy Reserve and was hoping to become a Navy SEAL. The third victim refused treatment by medics at the scene. Police have not been able to locate the driver, and it is not clear whether alcohol played a role in the incident.

With medical bills piling up and being unable to go back to work, these types of accidents can alter a vicim's life in the blink of an eye. That is why it is important to make sure you obtain an experience personal injury attorney if you are ever injued in a hit-and-run accident.

As a VA personal injury attorney with offices in Virginia Beach, I often consult with victims of pedestrian accidents. I know firsthand that people on foot have no way to protect themselves from injuries, or even death, when caught in the path of an irresponsibly or dangerously driven vehicle.

My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to the victims and their friends and family.
