One Dead Following Three-Car Crash in Prince William County, VA | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Another tragedy has occurred as a result of someone making the decision to get behind the wheel while intoxicated.

A three-car crash at the intersection of Dumfries Road and Prince William Parkway in the town of Brentsville in Prince William County, Virginia (VA), claimed the life of a 57-year-old woman. According to  police the driver of a Lexus ran a red light and hit a Ford Focus whose driver was attempting to make a left-hand turn. This collision caused the Focus to smash into a Volkswagen Jetta stopped at the signal.

The deceased victim was a passenger in the Focus, and the driver of that vehicle was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. Police have charged the driver of the Lexus with drunken driving.
