Passenger Killed in Suffolk, VA Car Accident | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

David Williams was a passenger in a car that wound up getting hit by a Ford Mustang at the intersection of Route 460 (i.e. Pruden Blvd.) and Providence Road  in Suffolk, Virginia (VA). Tragically, Mr. Williams lost his life due to the car crash. He was only 49 years old, according to wvec.com.

The driver of the car carrying Mr. Williams was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and she is reportedly in stable condition.

There was a passenger in the Ford Mustang as well, but she was lucky and survived the car wreck in Suffolk after being treated at Sentara Obici Hospital.

My deepest sympathies go out to the Williams family. They are probably grappling with the pain of loss and have a myriad of questions about this accident. Was the driver of the car carrying Mr. Williams distracted or did they turn too quickly? Did the driver of the Mustang run a red light? We do not know what exactly caused the crash to happen and will have to wait until a full accident report is completed.
