The Virginia Wrongful Death Lawyers’ Perspective

No one should ever need to be reminded how deadly drunk and distracted drivers can be. A stronger, and truer, statement from police would have been that some personal injury or wrongful death is almost likely to result from anyone’s negligent and reckless decision to drink too much, get behind the wheel and then intentionally become distracted by reading and sending text message without pulling over.

As personal injury and wrongful death attorneys with offices in Hampton and Virginia Beach, we have helped many traffic accident victims in Newport News. Those wrecks have involved impaired drivers, reckless drivers, distracted drivers and hit-and-run drivers; learning about a pedestrian accident that took a life and apparently resulted from all four causes shocks and saddens even us.
