Powhatan County, VA Truck Wreck Kills Three | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

It was a case of being in the wrong place at the exact wrong time for the driver of a logging truck on U.S. 60 in Powhatan County, Virginia (VA). That’s where, early in the morning of March 26, 2012, a dump truck hauling sludge crossed the center line of the highway and slammed head-on into his logging truck. The three people in those vehicle were killed, and three others in other commercial trucks that got caught up a chain-reaction were are being treated for injuries.

The accident scene is no doubt a nightmare for investigators. The first collision caused a fire, and foul smelling sludge, huge timbers and smashed vehicles spread more than 200 yards across the roadway. orst of all, three people will neaver see their families again.

As Virginia truck injury accident attorneys, my colleagues and I know it’s going to be tough for the families of the victims to get fairly compensated for the wrongful deaths of their loved ones. Retaining an experienced lawyer will be prudent so all evidence can be analyzed early on.
