Raleigh Construction Worker Dies in Wall Collapse at Job Site | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

In Raleigh, NC a construction worker was killed by a wall collapse at his job site in the afternoon, according to police.

Officers said workers had made an addition to a building at Precision Tune Auto Care, 4808 Atlantic Avenue, and were taking down a concrete wall separating the original structure from the addition when the wall collapsed about 1:30 p.m. The worker died at the scene.

The N.C. Department of Labor is investigating the accident and has not released the worker’s name. Police said no one else was injured.
