What Happened:
A serious accident involving an SUV and pickup truck occurred at the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Turnberry Boulevard in Newport News, Virginia (VA).
Reports indicate that the driver of a Ford Ranger pickup truck was stopped at a red light and was hit by a Toyota SUV entering the intersection making a turn from Turnberry Boulevard to Jefferson, according to WAVY.com.
The wreck was so severe that the pickup truck flipped on its side and the driver had to be extracted from the vehicle.
