Three people suffered injuries in a six vehicle wreck that occurred at the intersection of Ocean View Avenue and 13th Bay Street in Norfolk, Virginia (VA). One of the vehicles wound up slamming into a Chanello's Pizza as well.
We do not know the exact cause of the multi-car crash but we do know one driver was charged with reckless driving, according to wvec.com.
Reckless driving constitutes numerous different traffic violations which include failing to give a proper signal, failing to maintain proper control of your vehicle, and speeding over 20mph above the posted speed limit. Punishment can include a large fine, suspension of your license, and even jail time (depending on whether or not this is your first offense).
We will have to wait and see what the accident report reveals regarding the cause of this six-car accident.
