South Carolina (SC) Woman Receives $3M Settlement for Brain Injury | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

In his latest post to our firm’s Northeast North Carolina Injuryboard blog, my colleague John C. notes that a traffic accident caused by a cement truck left a young woman with mild traumatic brain injuries severe enough to prevent her from pursuing her chosen career. The lingering effects of the MBTIs mirror those of concussions and also prevent the woman from managing her family’s business as she had done before the 2004 collision. John points out that receiving $3 million in a settlement to cover medical expenses, lost wages and permanent mental disabilities required many years and expert legal representation.
