Suffolk, VA Man Dead, and Two Injured in Memorial Day Weekend Crash | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A Suffolk, VA man, age 42, died after he veered into oncoming traffic on Saturday during Memorial Day weekend, according to the Virginian-Pilot.

The man, of the 500 block of Virginia Ave., drove east on the 300 block of W. Constance Road in Virginia about 3 pm, when he sideswiped an oncoming car. The man’s wife reported the man slumped over before crashing into an oncoming car. A doctor said the man died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.

The driver of the oncoming car and the man’s wife were taken to Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, respectively, with injuries.

The news did not provide reason for why the man veered into the oncoming car. The victims in this Virginia car wreck may be looking at months before full recovery. If the VA wreck was the fault of anyone, the family or friends of the victims might have to file a car accident injury claim with the assistance of Virginia personal injury lawyers against the responsible parties in order to get justice for the pain they suffered.
