Suffolk, VA Woman Hit, Injured Crossing Street | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

pedestrian is recovering from head wounds she received when she was struck by a car in Suffolk, Virginia (VA). The woman hadbeen heading across the 100 block of Main Street and was rushed by ambulance to a Norfolk hospital.

 

Our thoughts go out to the victim. We wish her a speedy recovery from all the injuries she sustained in the wreck. Police haven’t released an official crash report just yet, so we’ll have to wait and see how and why exactly this crash occurred. So far, no one has been charged.


A pedestrian was hit by a car in the 100 block of Main Street in downtown Suffolk, VA.

Though the at-fault driver hasn’t been charged, that doesn’t preclude the pedestrian from pursuing a personal injury claim. And, certainly, if the driver is found to have been negligent, then the victim would have every right to pursue a lawsuit to recover lost wages, medical expenses, and other monetary damages.
