Suffolk Wreck Results in Death of Passenger

Comments (0)

A minivan was traveling down U.S. 460 in Suffolk, Virginia (VA) when havoc ensued. The minivan reportedly crashed into a Ford F-150 that was broken down on the eastbound lane of 460.

As a result of the collision, Josephine Gwaltney, a passenger in the minivan, lost her life. She was taken to the hospital after the wreck and succumb to her injuries, according to the Virginian-Pilot.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Gwaltney family. Losing a loved one is always heartbreaking, but the pain is even worse when your loved one is taken from you in a sudden and unexpected manner.

The exact cause of this tragic wreck remain unknown. Was the driver of the minivan distracted and not see the F-150 on the side of the road? Did the F-150 driver put on his hazard lights? We will have to wait and see what the incident report reveals.
