The Virginia Injury Lawyers’ Perspective

The injured victim, Ms. Wilson, should consider speaking to a Virginia personal injury lawyer to discuss their legal options. It appears, from the facts available, that the  18-year-old driver negligently operated their vehicle causing this terrible accident. As the facts state above, the driver is facing criminal charges for failing to yield the right of way. This is a form of reckless driving (seesection 46.2-863).

If Ms. Wilson were to pursue a personal injury claim against the 18-year-old driver, a criminal charge, or conviction, is strong evidence establishing liability since it indicates that the driver operated their vehicle in an irresponsible fashion.
