The Virginia Personal Injury Lawyers’ Perspective

Some car accident cases are more straightforward. A negligent driver runs a red light and hits another car causing injuries. Some are much more complex such as those involving three or more vehicles. In this accident it was easier to determine who the at-fault driver was, but in other cases it will not be known until after the final police accident reports are filed. This makes it difficult to determine which driver or drivers shared liability for negligence, causing the accident, or contributing to injuries. The scene will need to be analyzed and the crash recreated to determine who was at fault and who should pay for any resulting injuries. Since there are so many people hurt, the victims may have to go to their own auto insurance companies to collect what is called underinsured motorist coverage. Multi-vehicle accidents can present unique issues of liability and funds for those who are injured, if you were hurt in this kind of accident we strongly advise contacting an experienced Virginia (VA) personal injury lawyer who can sort through the insurance issues and get you the compensation you deserve.
