As Virginia personal injury attorneys, we have helped many drivers and passengers hurt in crashes caused by other people who made turns, changed lanes or exited parking lots unsafely. Any time a driver has to cross in front of or merge with flowing traffic, he or she has to yield right of way to approaching or neighboring vehicles. Failing to wait until the way is clear cases causes more accidents, injuries and deaths on our roads than just about any other cause.
