Tractor-Trailer Driver Killed After Being Hit by Passing Semi in Putnam County, WV

A tractor-trailer driver who was outside of his truck on Route 35 in Putnam County, West Virginia (WV), was knocked down and run over by a passing semi near Hurricane Creek Road. The at-fault driver of the second truck stopped to aid the victim and police did not immediately file charges.

Many questions surround this tragic accident. Was the at-fault truck driver so distracted or drowsy that he did not see the other semi at its driver on the side of the road?
