Truck Hits NC Bus, Injuring Several Students

Comments (0)
A bus wreck on Meeting Street in Carteret County, North Carolina (NC), sent 13 East Carteret High School students to the hospital in early November 2011. According to Eyewitness News 9, most of the children complained of neck and shoulder pain, while officials expressed concerns that some of the students showed concussion symptoms.

It is unknown whether the truck driver will be charged with any traffic violations.

This report on a bus wreck, and the recent update by one of our firm's NC personal injury lawyer's, on the driver involved in the SkyExpress bus crash in Virginia (VA) in May 2011 that left four people dead and others seriously injured, causes us to reflect on how individuals often die or get seriously injured when they ride on buses.

A mass transit wreck can be a life-altering event that requires the help of North Carolina personal injury attorneys to hold responsible parties accountable for injuries. To learn more about what to do if you or a loved one is hurt in a mass transit accident, check out our Frequently Asked Questions devoted to the subject.
