Two Truck Crash in CA Leaves Chicken and Bees on Highway

Comments (0)

A tractor trailer carrying thousands of pounds of frozen chicken smashed into a big rig carrying bees in Southern California last Monday. This created a fiery wreck that cooked the chicken and left thousands of bees swarming the crash site.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened on I-10 near Coachella. This left thousands of drivers stuck in traffic for hours.

The police stated that both trucks were west bound, and one of the trucks attempted to pass the other, and clipped it in the process. That driver lost control of the truck carrying chicken and it crashed and burned, cooking the chicken in the process. The bees also escaped from the other truck in the mishap.

A beekeeper eventually was called in and collected most of the bees.

We are very relieved that no one was seriously injured in this two truck crash. Many crashes involving two big rigs lead to complete disaster and end multiple lives. As personal injury lawyers for truck crash victims, we urge all truck drivers to always use extreme caution in the operation of their vehicles. They hold commercial drivers’ licenses, and are held to a higher standard of driving behavior.
