In his latest post to our firm’s Virginia Beach Injuryboard, my colleague John C. reports that a local woman’s family won a nearly $2 million verdict against a plastic surgeon who failed to recognize or ensure adequate treatment for surgical complications that caused the woman’s death. John acknowledges that all surgeries pose risks, but he also notes that surgeons, nurses, technicians and all members of surgical teams must be held accountable when mistakes occur.
