The Virginia Personal Injury Lawyers’ Perspective

Though you usually move slowly through a parking lot and assume everyone is carefully watching for moving vehicles and pedestrians, there are untold numbers of accidents that occur each year in parking lots. This accident shows how important it is to always be aware of your surroundings. This goes for both pedestrians and those operating a vehicle. When driving through a parking lot every single car holds the potential for an accident, at any given time a pedestrian can walk out and into your path. This holds especially true for children and the elderly who are less likely to think about safety. Just because the speed is slower does not necessarily allow for more time to react. The man that was run over should contact a Virginia (VA) personal injury lawyer as quickly as possible. This will allow for an attorney to view evidence such as possible video surveillance and the scene of the accident. These measures will grant for the best possible opportunity of gaining compensation for his injuries.
