Woman Dies After Wyandot County, OH Crash | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A two-car accident claimed the life of an 84-year-old woman in Wyandot County, Ohio (OH). According to the Toledo Blade, the fatal crash occurred when the vehicle in which the woman was a passenger crossed U.S. 23 while traveling along Co. Road 121. Although the victim was freed by the Jaws of Life and immediately flown to a hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.

The newspaper also noted that the driver of the car in which the woman was riding inadvertently pulled out in front of another car, which then hit the passenger’s side. The exact cause of the wreck remains under investigation.

My deepest condolences go out to the victim’s family. It’s never easy losing a loved one, but the pain is even worse when the loss is sudden and appears to have been caused by the carelessness of an inattentive driver. The family should consider speaking to a wrongful death attorney to discuss their legal options.
