Woman Killed After Vehicle Overturns

In Virginia Beach a woman was killed Monday morning when her car struck another vehicle, before setting off a chain reaction on First Colonial Road. The accident caused her vehicle to overturn. The Virginian Pilot reported that police dispatchers received a call at 9:30a.m. from a witness that said that the woman's vehicle sideswiped another vehicle before it overturned. The woman's vehicle slid on its side down First Colonial Road before it flipped onto its roof. There was damage to all vehicles involved. As a result of the significant damage and wreckage it took several hours for police to open up First Colonial road.
