The West Virginia Highway Patrol stated that the driver of a 1992 Toyota was traveling the wrong direction on the interstate and slammed into another vehicle. The driver and passenger of that vehicle were seriously injured.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
Our car accident personal injury law firm has handled many similar car accidents as the above. We had a case in Virginia Beach where the defendant failed to yield right of way on VA Beach Blvd., and the result was a serious wreck.
Our client had a broken femur, broken ankle and several other injuries. His lower body was seriously damaged from the crash. In court, we were able to prove that our client had lost future income of $612,000 and his future medical costs would be about $830,000. That case settled for $1 million.
The families of the injured should seek the counsel of an experienced personal injury lawyer in their state to sue the estate of the deceased, if indeed the police find she was at fault. Both of the injured could recover financial damages similar to our case mentioned above.
