Is there a time limit for me to sue the federal government?

A: Yes, there is what's called a "statute of limitations." This is the timeframe in which you can file a claim against another individual, company, or entity. And, the Federal Torts Claim Act has an administrative claim requirement that must be timely filed, before any lawsuit.  Seek legal advice if you have a potential claim.
