According to an article in the Virginia Pilot, Buddy Dean Bohlander, 58, of the 1300 block of Iowa Street in Chesapeake, Virginia (VA), was killed on Thursday, November 20, 2008. Mr. Bohlander was riding a bicycle northbound on George Washington Highway when he was hit by a northbound Jeep Cherokee driven by Florence Moore, 29, of Portsmouth, Virginia (VA). Mr. Bohlander was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he died. Charges are pending against Ms. Moore, but the crash remains under investigation.
